Cleanroom system

A cleanroom facility is a room in which the concentration of airborne particles is kept very low to enable special manufacturing processes or research activities that require a high level of cleanliness. Cleanroom facilities are classified according to various standards that specify the allowable number of particles per unit volume of air. Various measures are required to operate a cleanroom facility, such as special ventilation and air-conditioning technology, suitable room design and equipment, adapted work clothing and technology, and personnel and material locks.
